I will be moving
to my permanent site on November 4, 2002.
My new mailing address is in the city of Bukhara. I live about 35
minutes away in a very small village. I will probably be checking
my mail about twice a month. For now, all mail should be addressed
in both English and Uzbek-Latin.

Mail from the United States takes a minimum of 3 weeks to arrive
in Uzbekistan. Very occasionally, it doesn't come. Please number
your letters or packages so I can tell if anything has gone missing.
Mail must be
addressed in both English and Cyrillic. You can print out the address
above and paste it onto the envelope or package.
Packages may be sent via airmail (at least 3 weeks) or surface (about
3 months). Even though airmail can be quite expensive, it is thought
to be more reliable than sending packages by surface mail.
